Over the weekend we had a lot of reading, but it was an intense ride for Tae-yul as he joined the Japanese Army and became a kamikaze pilot. Today we are going to explore more the world that Tae-yul came into.

2. List 3 rules created by the Japanese against the Koreans during World War II?
3. How does Korea's geography affect their culture?

Today we begin our second novel study! We will be reading a book about a Korean girl who lives during a time when Japan ruled Korea. As we learn her story, we will be learning a lot about Korean culture.
