We have come to the end of "When My Name was Keoko." Today we are going to look at what life is like after World War II for both of these countries.

DO NOW: Answer the following questions individually

1. What did you learn about the power of TRADITIONS from this book?
2. Do you think Kamikaze pilots are still around today? Can you think of something happening today that is similar? Why?
3. Would you volunteer for the military like Tae-yul did? Why or Why not?

CLASSWORK: Discuss Chapters 30-32. Complete 2.16 Japan and Korea Today Classwork.
