What is a Samurai?

Konnichiwa! (‘ko-knee-chi-wa’)こんにちは。(“Good Afternoon” in Japanese.)

On Friday we learned about the geography of Japan and Korea and how their closeness to China and each other helped create their culture. We also took a closer look at Korea's culture. Today we are going to look at Japan’s history and culture. We will look at a very interesting subject in Japan, the Samurai warrior. The Samurai warrior was considered one of the most important people in ancient Japan, and their ideas still have an influence on Japan today.
